I have your money now and even though there's no point in playing our "game" anymore you can't have it back. I am really disappointed that this was just another: Here, enjoy some temporary high off a few hours of gameplay. So many arbitrary restrictions are holding this game back.Įndless mode is pointless mode and Campaign mode is such that you could write a quick script to play cards from your hand randomly until you get The End card and still unlock everything so there's not really any point at being good at the game except for expediting its end. Take my civilization as far as I can before I give my deck the next upgrade and make another run. Why cant I purchase more trees? More plants? More minerals? Let me spend all these stars so I can play longer and longer games. Developers need to stop being lazy and design actual gameplay loops to give people a reason to play the game forever. Unlocks are a stupid way to extend gameplay anyways. I unlocked all the cards with little difficulty and without having to bother with actively hunting down achievements. Even if it were as simple as seeing who could reach 1000 faith first or a certain tech etc. I’m not sure at all on what could be done, but my point was that personally I’ve stopped playing the game now that I feel I’ve “completed” it. Then the possibility to take some humans and resources the next land? Perhaps what would be great is to have a mode with a massive map and a sort of fog of war to motivate you to explore. I’d love to see some sort of campaign or better yet some sort of system that you “unlock” further upgrades (cards) IN GAME, sort of like Kingdom: New Age. I feel like for £3.99 I more than got great value for the game but I was wondering if you’re thinking on ways to increase replay-ability? I appreciate that I could get into endless mode but to me it’s more of a sandbox type mode which doesn’t really interest me. However, now that I’ve gotten all the cards, and basically feel like I’ve researched and unlocked everything… I really have no more reason (or real want) to play the game. The only thing that really got me stumped was the UFO and the “alignment” (don’t want to spoil, if that makes sense). The game is sort of a puzzle, needing to get to the next stage. Personally I am quite campaign/story driven, so with a game like this it kept me quite hooked to try and figure out “the next thing”. Just wanted to give you feedback, mainly regarding the replay-ability of the game. Thanks so much for an inspiring and original game, enjoyed it very much.
